Namco Bandai announced Riviera: Promised Land for PSP, an adventure RPG developed by Sting, originally released on WonderSwan Color in 2002, and GBA in 2004. The PSP version will have enhanced graphics, full voice dubbing and a large amount of new illustrations. The graphics are just plain awesome. The character sprites, the backgrounds, the anime still shots, everything--it all looks great. Even compared to the leading anime games of the time, this has to be one of most intense type of graphics i have seen on game consoles before.
Judging from the GBA version this games story line will be top notch. If you are an RPG fan then this is one of the few games that you should definately check out. Althugh RPG’s like Blade Dancer have disappointed us, we still have some more awesome RPG’s heading our way.
Riviera: Promised Land will be released in Japan in 2006.
