I'm gonna agree with Darkatomz on the PSPVideo9 comment. The reason that I have had problems with the new versions is that
1. It now takes a whooole lot longer to convert files that used to take 5-10 minutes, and
2. it stopped working with my computer and kept messing with my drivers, when the older versioins used to work fine.
But to put my own two cents in on the article, I have found that XviD has amazing capabilities with all file formats, and it really does convert everything, I haven't found a file type which it cannot convert. It does take a long time for some processes but that is expected because of the quality that it produces. I would also recommend WinAVI iPod (PSP) converter because although the quality isn't that high, it is amazingly fast which is a big plus for me when I convert TV shows and stuff and don't necessarily need PMP quality, but want to do it in a hurry.
pspcrazy, the article was great though, I haven't seen anything like this comparing the current players for video conversions. Good work!

Thanks bro I'm actually now working on my next feature article which should be here sometime at the end of the week Gonna keep them coming, all unique and exclusives to here!
I use winavi as well but since it's paid ware, and seems to have really large file sized for lower quality stuff i decided not to include it.

Two things, the Super link doesn't work, and also why isn't any PMP software listed up here? I mean what's better than full rez?

I know PSP, but there should be some PMP software listed aside from that one, I mean they are video convertors after all right?

@Darksidehearts, there are only 2 PMP converters that I know of, which are XviD Converter + Videora PMP Converter.
They are both pretty good, but I prefer XviD because its better speeds for small files. Also, it has lots of customization capabilities, like subtitles and alternate audio sources.
I think the reason that pspcrazy didn't put it up is because it is only compatible with homebrew enabled firmwares

Im connssidering Xilisoft since pspvideo9 is giving me trouble, and it keeps squishing certain episodes that arend pre squished to begin with, but does tis have as many options as the psp and can the videos be made higher and lower qualities...

ImToo works really well too, but you have to either get a keygen or buy it to make it convert more then 5 minutes.

vixy is... an online converter, and it's not that good for actual fils on the pc, it's more used for streaming videos and so on. As so it had fairly bad compression as well :|

I agree with Darkatomz, the PSPvid.9 was awsome before and I was using it ALL the time, now that they upgraded, it's basically waisted space on my computer. thanks for all the options though
