i had that same problem ms bex.its cause you need to specifie the folder(s) you want shared.and don't click select all,thats your problem.i selected my video file,then my music one,then pictures.LEAVE EVERYTHING ELSE BLANK
otherwise it cheacks you whole computer for files..AKA IT CANT DO IT..
another thing,dont do ANYTHING while indexing,click it,and go get a cup o coffee or something,otherwise youl have to click again if you do something..

another thing i just tryed AND IM FREAKING OUT!!!!!

DOUBLE STREAM!!!!PC TO PS3 TO PSP!!!!!CLICK REMOTE PLAY>>ON PS3
AND LOG ON WITH YOUR PSP
