Good to see that you guys (and gals?) are finally back!! And yes, as a writer myself I have a few comments to the people working on PSP X Mag.
Whoever wrote the Sega Rally Revo preview and Riviera review, do look through your articles with critical eyes when you're done writing to see if there's
anything that can be changed for the better. It's especially easy to start repeating yourself without taking notice of what you've been typing - until you actually read through your work. Just listen to this sentence taken straight off the Sega Rally preview:
"The game boasts a good soundtrack to keep you humming to the game as you drive around the many tracks that the game has to offer."
I think you get my point here (hint:
game) ^^
Same goes for the Riviera review:
"The graphics are very nice, colorful, and very nice on the eyes..."
Yes - very nice graphics indeed

You even end the paragraph (from which that sentance is taken) using these words as well - saying that
"it looks very nice".
Also, try not to abuse commas! Read through every paragraph while making sure that it doesn't sound too long because of all the pauses created by placing out too many commas. Remember to come to a point every once in a while and place a dot there
And while this probably will sound too time consuming or just plain boring to actually happen (unless it already does and if so - then shame on you), the executive editor of this magazine
really should take the time to look through the mag's
full content before distributed/uploaded. Then the little details such as what I've already talked about here could be taken care of and straighten out - as would the incorrect overall rating of the game Riviera (should be 8.6 and not 9.6), thus making the reader feel more satisfied with the magazine overall.
And speaking of overall, I advice you (the editor, that is) to have a little chat with your "staff" regarding how to calculate the Overall score given to a game (look at Crisis Core - how does 10, 10, 8, 9 add up to "only" 8.5? 37/4=9.25). Make sure everyone feels the same about what a 7 stands for and just how to rate a game.
Keep up the otherwise good work! Whining/critique mode off ^^
