you got about a 33% chance of getting a RROD it may be the same day you buy it or a few month or even years but one thing is for sure it will happen and when it does you'll have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to get your system or a refurbished one back. if you think you can live with that by all means go for it. Microsoft got you cover for 3 years only so if by a miracle your system last more than that you're on you own but I don't think there has been a single person that lucky yet  .
