| I highly recommend getting the extended warranty. I mean this is a sony product after all. I hardly use to play my first generation PS2, and the laser died on that thing within 2 years. So the extra $40 gets you a new PSP for free. They just replace the unit.
It doesn't matter what kind of condition you keep your stuff in, most likely something on the PSP itself will go wrong in a couple of years.
