I loved the graphics, the game variations, the 4 player enabled console and this was the first console or any game thingy where I played an FPS. <3 GoldenEye, <3ed Perfect Dark harder, and Conker's BFD, </3 Perfect Dark Zero, ****ing gay ass game, son. |

My favorite game also happened to be an N64 game, which was Harvest Moon 64. PS1 was a great system though, I loved Jade Cocoon and the Megaman Legend series.

| Re: N64 Vs PS1 SEGA SATURN! I am sorry to ruin your guys debate, but I liked the Sega Saturn during this generation. The specs were all messed up and it was impossible for developers at the time of release to develop anything that looked better in 3d than the other two consoles. But where it shined was in the 2d department. It's 2d capabilities were better than the other systems, by far! The ports of all the capcom arcade games were freaking awesome on this system. And the controller (Six face buttons and a circular d-pad) were made for Street Fighter. Also, there were a few super sweet games that were not on the other 2 consoles. Like Guardian Heroes. The best side-scrolling beat-em-up ever. As far as those two systems go though, I guess I would have to pick the PS1 because it just had a way bigger selection of games. Games of all types. Most of them lacked in the gameplay department campared to the N64 games, but N64 only had, I think, One 2d game, in Paper mario. Which came out after I broke my N64 controllers in frustration while playing one of the horribly controlled WWF games. The N64 controller was hard to get used to, and I broke a few of them. But after getting used to it I liked it better than playstation. But still not as much as the Saturn controller. If you take out the WWF games, almost all the N64 games had better control and gameplay than the PS1 games. But N64 lacked in most of my favorite gametypes back then which were 2d fighters, RPGs, and RTS games. So PS1 wins because it had more games that I liked. But I didn't own a PS1. I owned a 64 and a Saturn and I was pissed that Playstation had so many more games. ![]() |
