It was obvious Blu-Ray was going to win, all our media is based on storage capacity, I feel sorry for anyone who bought HD-DVD. Blu-Ray has won

Too bad HD lost but now HD DVD's are getting real cheap so I will continue to buy them. Also hope people don't go for the cheap 1.0 blu-ray players as I hear they won't play all the content on the newer BR discs when they come out...

bottom line, hd is absolutely without a doubt screwed. bluray can hold so much more crap, and it has better picture. still, since the hd player for the xbox 360 is so cheap, ill probably get one. Also, since bu ray overpowered hd, ps3 sales will go up because it has built in bluray.

Well anyway.

1. Bluray Won over HDDVD
2. HDDVD's are not going to be made anymore.
3. The HD DVD player add on for 360 is usless and if you wait you can get one for about 20p as there so useless. . .

As HD DVD's are worthless they will be in the 99p boxes soon. . . they are going to be like video tapes in about a year i think.

I bought into HD back in 2006. I wanted both but Blu Ray was too expensive. I really like both formats, but Blu Ray does have the edge. Doesn't really matter anymore since Toshiba has given up on the format.
