I choose blu ray simply cos of the larger amount of data it can hold and what it can do for the future.

niether i think digital distribution will be the HD format of choice you can already see it happening with video on demand xbox live video marketplace tivo and you can buy boxs that you can purchase HD content. but if one has to win prob blue ray it looks like its gaining some steam because of the ps3 and has more of a sexiness factor cuz its blue ray instead of just dvd with hd tacked on but i havent purchased a dvd in so long i think close to a year so i dont know.

in case you guys miss it Hitachi announced a 200 gigs, 4 layer blu-ray

Blue ray is much better as it holds more data meening games can be longer and have more things in them and the Gfx can be better with blueray with more memory that meens more texturs can be added into games.
