saying to not cure diseases is unfair how would you feel if you were a person with cancer? Plus there are a ton of people who deserve to die living today. e.g people who have bad alcohol problems get cancer then go off drinking again each time damaging thier life and wasting money.

I already said I'm sure my mind would be changed if I was put in their shoes via myself or a family member, but until then, I'm against it, learn how to read.

isnt that a step above stem cell researching? I honestly think its a huge mistake, i mean, there's so many things that can go wrong. Also, I heard rumors that scientists are going to attempt to take dna from a dinosaur bone and re-make a dinosaur. Now, if anybody has seen Jurassic Park, we know that when people start playing god, somehthing goes wrong. I think we're taking it too far

I think this could be very useful though, used appropriately of course. We could engineer antibodies or bacteria that have specific DNA programming it to wipe out the Cystic Fibrosis cells or to target only Cancer cells.

Very true.....but knowing mankind.....we are bound to make this knowledge into a weapon.....and use it to do the opposite effect.....
