Why do most girls now, tend to act slutty?

Well they can act however they want to act like lol, but that doesn't mean they are going to find anyone worth their time lol. Well yes in some cases that may be true, but another reason is the sure competition of it, the wanting to belong within the group. In essence to fit in better. Not the best method of doing so but the female world is far to vast to even begin to find logic in decisions. I used to have a friend who dressed like one of the many girls in school, the provacative nature was only to be better than the next girl. It wasn't until she went out on a date at a party where she found out the guy only went for her looks and thought she'd be easy, luckily she is smarter than the looks she was presenting otherwise I would have been afraid of the outcome she would have been in. Well anyway I have faith in some of the people I know but I don't like it when people give in to trends and "what's in"

It's so pointless, what are you accomplishing exactly? How does that better the person, where is the gain? There is none except to perhap have some small personal gain where you end up getting something you may not want in the first place...I just don't get it, in life you need to make your own path. Stop following others all the time. Eh, sorry got a little in there for a second. But you get my point.

I'm respectful to a girl who can respect herself. If someone has respect for themselves then I will be respectful. Girls who have low self confidence deserve what they get. I know that might sound ****ed up, but oh well. Now I'll date a girl with low self confidence and no self respect, but they have no respect, no say in what I do, nothing.

Wow. I have to say, well put Darksidehearts. And you have a point, what do you gain by acting like everyone else? I see no gain in it, plus, being the different person is what makes us unique, what seperates us from the idiots, from the barbarians. Oh well, there are many things that con contribute to this. But I think the main reason is media, cause they add the whole "what's in" things and such

I don't think you are as picky as you are being able to get close to. I think we all put up a barrier for other people. We are picky to a point where we can justify why we won't love or be submissive to a person.
