| GamingCrazy Beginner ![]() | true skills humans are born with but it really depends of the situation that you live in, to shine those skills. example if you live in a rough environment or if is you have a very close person doing something amazing when your are young, that person will show you how to do it and the right steps necessary to perform it from very young. And you will get the experience to shine those skills you where born with. The perfect example is to play a guitar, if you start from very young you will be good but when you start old uhh

| GamingCrazy Elite ![]() | Re: what is it that determines true skill? what determins true skill... whatever skill you seek or aspire to gain, if you train hard and search for the right ways to learn it then you will have no problem. but not many have the mental stamina to do so, they try, doesnt happen right away, so they quit. what determines "true" skill. that depends on the people who see what you can accomplish after training so hard. iv seen people do amazing things that looked as though it came easy to them, however their training was anything but. perhaps your question is more "what is true skill". there are too many to pick, but whats more important is finding what calls to your heart and doing whats in your power to become the best you can be. true skill either way has to come from your willingness and determination to become the best you can be. natural talent just means you have to prove yourself more cause you have no excuse to be worse then others. |

| GamingCrazy Addict ![]() | Re: what is it that determines true skill? I think one of the most difficult skills is musicianship (as you mentioned, though only partially.) I doubt many of you have heard a truly great symphony or musician. A great piece of music is one that moves you to tears and has you leaping out of your seat, or griping the edge, scared of what is to come next. Someone who can do this to you has the best skill of all.
