It seems like the SNES classic Chrono Trigger is finally getting a remake or a sequel on the DS and its about time! The last Chrono we saw was the awesome sequel in 2000 for ps1!

agreed, i never got to play the snes one properly, so when this comes out, im def getting this for my r4, and il be spending a few hours playing it

Although i think its sweet that chrono trigger is finally gettin a re-release, apparently it will not hav updated graphics like ff4 DS. So that means it should look a little bit better than the ps1 chrono trigger release in Chronicles(which i own). The only new things is that it will have a multiplayer mode, extra dungeon, and touch screen stuff. Im going to assume only the fans or people who have always wanted to play it but have not gotten the chance to will buy it.

This was cool until i got told it was going to be a remake. . i have finished the game even tho it is going to have more stuff in it but i don't think it will be on my must get list.

well, it might be a remake, but from what i heard, its not going to be 3d, i think they are going to keep the 2d perspective, but just add a few new things like a new dungeon and couple of other extra's

and i hope it comes to the uk, it gives us brits finally a look at the chrono series other than chrono chronicles for the ps1

Dude it looked sooooo freaking good. Square should be ashamed of themselves for not remaking it at least along those lines. I'm still gonna pick it up though, I'm playing through it again on my psp now too lol
