Can you? like some other people i still have my Orig DS which i don't play but the DSI looks much better than the DS lite which i had no intension of upgrading to also with the SD card slot piracy will be good for it.

do you really think that nintendo are stupid enough to actually give us hackers the sd slot, just so they can lose money? i know that is a seriously risky move doing it, as if it is cracked (which it will be), we can then safely say that nintendo are screwed...

but until then, yea, the DSi looks good, but i very much doubt il get one, i dont need a camera and my r4 does me fine when i want games

Yeah my R4 does me just fine too.
The DSi does look very cool though, and for the same price as the DS Lite - so i'd say hold off getting a DSL if you were thinking of getting one until the DSi comes out

I still have my Mario Red Phat DS with R4 too, but when this thing comes out i will most definately be getting it, its about time they put a SD slot on it! But im betting that the SD is for something with the Wii...cant wait for this!!!

the DSI does look cool but it has no gba slot. Nintendo just screwed itself because of games like guitar hero and pokemon pearl/diamond that use the gba stot.

I've never had a DS for myself, I was about to buy a DSLite until I heard the rumors for this before it was announced. Now I'm waiting for it, I'll have to get it in March when I'm studying abroad in Japan since I'll be over there when it's release States side, hopefully they'll have a limited edition color or something to make it worth the inflated Japanese price. Hopefully by then they'll either crack the sd slot or find a way to allow flash carts to run on it.

This will be my first DS and I'm glad I waited

Oh yeah, and for current news, the DSi just got hacked to run Hello World, so expect homebrew on it and possible Flash Cart support soon
