DS Lite Flashing Help

I'll be getting a Nintendo DS Lite when they are released in the UK and am planning to flash it so I can run emulators and stuff.

Could someone post some guides or information about flashing a DS Lite.

Seems as if the regular DS is easier to flash, but Im sure the Lite isnt that much more difficult. Just be sure to flash it a day or two when u get it so you can return it and get another one if its bricked.

Thanks for the link FusionHype, the DS Lite comes out in July so i'm going to start reading guides and stuff.

But I may just get a flash cart instead of going through the trouble of flashing it.

Thanks Fusion Hype, I will need that FAQ once I get my Flash Cart later next week . And the NDS Lite is being released in July in the UK? I thought it was in September. It seems like they changed the date, which is very good.

Just be aware that if you don't flash it you'll have to keep a PassMe in the gba slot and it will stick out. Reason being is because the flash cart will only be read by one screen, so you need some device or firmware to change it so that the DS will play the game on both screens.

Lol, i was just bout to ask u why u put July in ur previous post lmao.

Yep, 23rd June. Game also have dummy versions in, so u can see the size of them etc. My game store only had the white dummy version, but none the less, i preordered it today, the black one. Was thinkin of flashin it when i get it, but meh, looks too complicated, think i mite stick to buyin games legitimatly lmao.

If ya scroll down to the chart, that's how you can play roms and stuff on a DS. I went with the FlashMe option and all I have in the DS is a flash cart which holds all the memory. I use an SD card that goes in the cart.

Becareful when flashing your DS it can brick it like you can with the PSP so be very very very careful!
