Re: Find all you need for DS homebrew

Hey guys I'm fairly new to this DS Lite homebrew and was reading through all 10 pages of this sticky. I was wondering if I picked up the M3 Lite perfect [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and a mini SD card is that all I would need? I have read through the sticky twice already and still haven't found the answer I was looking for. Maybe I skimmed through it too fast and missed a section. Thanx for any help.

Re: Find all you need for DS homebrew

Hey [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], make sure you look at the memory type. The link for the product you posted uses MICRO sd card (formerly known as transflash) and what you posted was MINI sd card. These are two totally different types of cards I believe. So If you are buying the memory card from a local store remember to get micro sd for that product M3 Lite Perfect *Micro SD* English inc. PassCard 3.

Re: Find all you need for DS homebrew

so basicly we just need

1. "any nds lite" cause nds dont have firmware like psp
2. i would go for M3 Simply cause really look simply
3. micro SD card

is it correct?

another question

1. is NDS lite have usb connection? to transfer roms or anything? or we must plug off micro SD and put it in mery card reader?
2. what is the different from M3 Simply and R4, because local store in my country dont have M3 Simply, only have R4
3. If I want to play Gba / Snes / nes any other which one should i need? is it related with the supercard we used or what? hehe im so confuse, because basicaly i want my nds can play ALL roms (nes/snes/gba/nds) and any homebrews

thanks

Re: Find all you need for DS homebrew

The NDS doesnt have a usb slot. Thats why you need a micro sd card and a card reader for your computer. With the M3 simply, you don't need to convert nds or gba games. I dont use emulators on my ds because i like it more on psp, but I believe nes, snes and gb roms need to be converted with software from m3's site.

I've never heard of R4 and thus can't reccommend it. I do know that supercard and M3 are the most reliable and respected among ds cards, so I would strongly recommend one of those two.
