There are multiple options. TO play ds games, just get the r4 and a micro sd card and you'll be fine.

Thanks so much for checking into this. Really saves me the trouble. The only thing I might add is maybe a link to wikipedia that explains what all this is.

Re: Find all you need for DS homebrew

Just need some clarifications. It's been 3 months since you're last update and it seems that things might have changed...

So does the R4DS go everything except play gba roms?
I.e. Does it play music, movies and ds roms?

If that's the case, what is the best for gba roms?

Thanks
Skeletor

Re: Find all you need for DS homebrew

Skeletor, I personally don't have an R4 but do have both a supercard and M3. The only thing preventing slot one cards (ie the R4) from playing gba games is that bios and memory are lacking and needed. Therefore, music and movies should work fine. I also know that almost all homebrew works on the R4. For gba games, I would recommend the supercard as I've had considerablly less problems with it than the M3. That said, the M3 has a cheat system built in, so you have to weigh the odds yourself. Good luck and I
m glad you appreciate my research.
