| GamingCrazy Semi-Addict   | Contact.... Is fun! Get it! Its pretty good actually. Besides some bores here and there and a hard to understand interface, its pretty good! It holds its own against the DS's pitiful line up anyway.  Star Fox, Mario Hoops....All meh games. Finally one to stand above...even mana and Magical starsign were sub par Until FFIII and 2007....DS is hopeless for me. PSP getting WAY more play time. But With Zelda, FFXI, Pokemon...with WIFI!!!! 2007 gon pwn! |

| GamingCrazy Beginner  | Re: Contact.... I was always intrigued by Contact and now that I've played it, I wasn't totally let down. The combat system may seem like a bore to some but I've played so many rpgs that I found it a nice change of pace. Thank goodness theres no random battles either! So far it reminds me a bit of Earthbound for the SNES. I'm currently stuck in Aegis but i've been leveling up while not knowing what to do. I refuse to use a FAQ for this game. My gf tried playing Magical Starsign. Pretty long intro and she never really played an RPG before. Let's just say she didn't like it and its no longer going back into her DS. I for one will not get into it yet, too many games on my plate for the DS at the moment (phoenix wright, super mario 64, new super mario bros, animal crossing, clubhouse games(wifi purposes), metroid prime hunters (save game got deleted at around 70%. stopped playing it since then). I tried out Children of Mana. Background art is simply gorgeous. Other than the first dungeon, I can't comment much on it. Seems pretty much a basic hack and slash tho. Final Fantasy 3 coming up for the DS too. If only I was younger, I could play all these games. |

Until '07, maybe, my PSP is gettin ALOT more attention. Then again its a good chance for me to catch up on some old good ds games i missed... lol contact IS earthbound. Just a little more boring. | GamingCrazy Beginner | Re: Contact.... i was pretty excited when i first heard about the contact game... but after reading the ign review i got less excited... =_=... they didnt give them a very good rating either.. (well its not bad either.. its 7.5 but i just expected better).. it looks like a really fun and new concept though... the only problem is... i wonder when they will finally sell it here in australia!!!!! so slow!!! oh yeah and about ds' pitiful line of games.. i actually think the games on the ds are pretty good and plentiful =S... although the games they have on sale where i am IS INDEED EXTREMELY PITIFUL... the price is pretty bad too... old games still sell for like 69.95 AUD =/ |
