where have you been living.....oh you didn't know, then your a** better listen up. lots of thread on this forum and other forums talk about it. you have two options: 1) a slot-1 card or 2) a slot-2 card with passkey card. pros and cons option 1. pro only need one card and a memory card to get you going with homebrews and roms. runs about $45+ for the card $$$ for size of memory card you want. or a DSX card which has memory built in but will run you $100+. most slot-1 (if not all) card can be use as passkey/passme. con no gameboy/gameboy advance rom emulation support as of writing. no support for apps that requires slot-2 (ie DS Web Browser). option 2. pro support for DS and gameboy/gameboy advance roms emulation. support for apps that requires slot-2. con need a passkey/passme card, a slot-2 card and a memory card. passkey/me and slot-2 card will run you about $89 or more pluse the extra $$$ for memory card. I'm using option 1, which is a M3 DS Simply card with a 2GB microSD memory card. my break down of cost as of writing is $45 for M3 Simply card and $31 for 2gb memory card. Grand total of....you do the math. There are other cards that might fit you better than the M3 DS Simply so google around. So now you know and knowing is half the battle. | |
