This will be a weekly post showing all new stuff coming or happening to the DS. If anything happens i will edit and post it here, so keep checking all of our posts for NEW INFO! This Weeks News! Guitar Hero confirmed for DS Charles Huang, co-founder of Developer Redoctane has confirmed that Guitar HEro is making its way to the hot selling Nintendo DS platform. Huang confirmed that the company is taking some fresh approaches to the title but couldn't elaborate further until his team had the engerring paths laid out with Nintendo. Further to this, he confirmed that it is possible that Guitar Hero for DS will receive a custom peripheral to go with it just like the console versions. G6 DS Real Loader v2.3 released The G6 team has rolled out a new firmware for use with the G6 DS real series. This should fix homebrew issues on the 16Gb issues and also includes a slightly updated user interface as well as slow motion support and a new version of Moonshell. The G6 Real DS is available to buy from Divineo.cn for a price of $79.95. Japan receives optical mouse add-on for DS A new game called Slide Adventure: Mag Kid comes complete with an add-on that essentially turns the DS into an optical mouse. The accessory clips onto the GBA port of the DS and will allow gamers to perform 'attack' moves via a quick fling of the device. Okiwi v0.2 alpha released - Homebrew DS browser Pedro has released a new build of his homebrew made web browser for use with the DS. This build offers a substantial improvement over the previous build by including partial CSS 2.1 support, new zooming levels and more. Rumor: Quake Arena heading to the DS? John Carmack last night mentioned that there may well be a version of Quake Arena heading to the DS. Carmack commented that he'd like the game to be more focused on the D-pad rather than the touch screen although no further information was given. CHECK THIS OUT! | You Guys Rock! | Re: [NEW] Ds News Weekly 08-16-07 I posted the guitar hero coming on ds 3 months ago Other then that make a seperate thread for each news post rather just one thread it will make the ds section look more populated and more people will reply vs just 1 or 2 people. |
