lol you had me excited for a second, if you expect that much committment from nintendo then you have no idea how they innovate and disappoint at the same time.

yeah true, but the bright side is that both the PSP and DS are starting to get abit old, considering how long the other portables lasted, I would not be surprised if they announced a new portable next year

naa no way ds is makein 2 many koopa coins for them bring a brand new handheld out. they may revise the lite sku... and sony just released the psp lite

I don't think they'll have any new portables just yet either. It seems like just yesterday all the gaming magazines were pitting DS and PSP against each other in polls and such... I personally like the PSP, The DS touch screen annoys the heck out of me...

Actually, thats how I imagioned it would be. And it makes sense.

1)It doesn't take that much commitment to make the screens wider

2) Gamecube graphics make sense as the next thing (GBA snes grfx, DS N64 grfx...)

I still imagine they will be using cartridges though. Technology has advanced enough that GC size games can fit on cards.

One thing they shouldnt do though is have a mem card slot. And my reason is that it was one of the downfalls of the psp. Nobody buys the games! They would put the roms on the mem.

What the ds could have though is a internal hardrive that could connect to wifi and Wii for downloads etc. Of course knowing Nintendo it probably wont be more than 512 since thats all the Wii has.
