Just got a Nintendo DS Lite now what?

Ok, i just got myself a Nintendo DS Lite. Can someone please tell me how do i mod it, flash it, what i need to get, maybe some guides?

What do you want to do with it?
If you want to play backed up games and homebrew, then get a flash cart. I got a R4DS at gameyeeeah for $40 total.
The cart is $35 and 5 or 6 for shipping. Use the coupon code gbatemp to get 5 percent off. Then all you got to do after that is buy a micro sd card and put all your games on that. Stick that sd in your r4ds and you can play backed up games.

Arrh, too late for the coupon, I just bought R4 and M3Real from gameyeeeah couple days ago, but, meh, it's ok, 5% is not too much difference anyway ...

Also, just scored a brand new Crimson-Black DS from craiglist for $90, apparently the dude got it for Xmas and doesnt want it, hehehe ...

Yeah, nephron, pretty much no need for modding whatsoever now, before you need flashme to bypass the passcard, but now with slot-1 flashcart like M3 or R4, pretty much that's all you need, also, the build in cheat database is pretty neat too, anyone know where can you get the latest cheat database for R4 and M3real ?

I don't know about m3 real, but you can get the lastest cheat database from gbatemp

I just sold my r4ds and got a supercard one sdhc and a 4gb micro. All that was only 50 to 60 dollars.
