Point Blank DS

Namco have pulled off a miricle and releaced there ever so popular shooter for the DS, they have picked all the best games from Point Blank 1,2 and 3 from the PSOne games and shoved them all into 1 DS cart and i have to say i am seriously impressed with the effort they have put into making this a legendary port



Storyline:
There is no story, basicly its 1 huge shooting range, and you use your stylus as a gun, there are over 150 minigames for you to blast your way through and to keep you hooked to try and get that highscore growing ever higher, and with this DS version having more modes than before, they all have to be concidered



Graphics:
Graphics isnt a major in this type of game but that dosent mean that they have left it out, even though this is a shooting game, they have done very well graphicly, and have put alot of thought into it, so you can tell a chicken from a target



Sound:
Nothing too special here, your basic background music and gunfire as you press the stylus down on the screen, yet i have to admit that that background music is kinda catchy but it isnt the type you will; want to download and listen too



Gameplay:
Basicly the whole game is around trying to beat your score as you improve. Yet there is somthign strangly satisfying as you kill 50 birds while they pop in and out of a house, the idea behind this is it is ment to be addictive and i have to say, they have done a fine job, they are keeping me hooked



Mulitplayer:
They Havnt left this one unattended, you can go shooting crazy with your mate and he dosent even have to have a copy of the game for you to be able to start whipping his score. i havnt tested this but from what i have seen, this is just, even maybe more, fun that playing it on your tele with your mate



Overall:
Overall, i woudl say this is a DS game that deserves some credit, this game is great fun and will keep you hooked, mulitplayer will also keep you coming back and there is always that high score lurking around just waiting to be beaten again making your life herder as you improve, this is one game to keep a look out for, even if you dont like or have never played a shooting game like this, thsi is 1 to concider getting for the sheer fun

the game is good but i cant configure my touch screen so quite hard to play know.

isnt it a little pointless just using a stylus to tap the targets though. Surely the fun was in shooting them with a light gun.

hmm this game will surely damage the DS touch screen due to the rapid fire in point blank. Im sure people will find this game to be abit repititive and frustrating because they dont wanna ruin their precious screen.

well i dont think you have to smash the stylus into the screen everytime. It should be alright.
