| GamingCrazy Rookie ![]() | While, this title might bring chills and thrills back into your mind from as a kid playing N64 Ocarina of Time. This awesome classic brings you back to that awesome puzzle filled realm of enjoyment. Yeah, thats right im talking about the newest, greatest and going to be most popular Nintendo DS Game. The title basically tells the story of the game. You are LINK as always very quiet, shy and yelling maniac (Does not make sence but it does). You're journey continues from Gamecubes classic, Wind Waker. This title should be called The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker 2, but Phantom Hourglass is just as good. In this game you use the Touch screen the entire time, this new function brings a whole new reality to the world of link. You attack, walk, jump and steer a boat using the stylus and touch screen. No buttons are used in this game not even as alternatives. You better know your japanese before playing as you wont know what the hell to do (if you are having trouble, and dont know japenese heres a small guide [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]). Well it starts off you in this little town of animation, you have a story line before the game so if you didint play Wind Waker, its alright it basically explains the whole game in 5-10mins. You get your sword, and continue on in this game. Grab some rupees buy stuff, then hop into a boat, and tell it where to go and your off. Traveling to different islands is fun! With obsticals in your way, you'll never get tired of boating. The dugneons are filled with tricky ways to get through, you gotta use your mind in this game folks. Well, since i dont want to talk anymore heres my rating. Visuals: 6/10 (gets blurry from far) Sound: 9/10 (Brings back memories) Gameplay: 8 (All touch screen can be tiring) Fighting: 7/10 (Hard to use, you die alot because of it) Overall: 8.5/10 (Good overall game) I say, import the game from japan like i did. Then when it comes out in NA pick it up and play again so you can understand what was going on. |

| Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. The us version has been out for awhile so get that one if you can't read Japanese. This is why the ds kicks the $h1t out of the psp, this game is awesome, I can't put it down and my wife is upset because its her ds yes I am playing a pink ds. This has to be one of the best of old school style zelda I have played and it rivals a link to the past as my favorite zelda game. If you want a great handheld game then this is it buy it or down load it but get it now you won't be disappointed. I haven't been so into a handheld game since a link to the past. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :wooh oo:![]() |

| Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. It kinda is the sequel to windwaker becuz it takes place after windwaker and it has the same graphics as windwaker. Its not that 2D closer to 3D. The use of the DS functions r used pretty well. Mic is used for some things. In one part of the game u even have to flip the DS lid down and open it again to continue the game. That is actually used in the game. Using the stlus isnt that tiring but can get annoying as he said. It does get me hurt sometimes and I feel like buttons r more responsive for fighting but overall the game is awesome. Some minigames r packed into this also. I recommend getting it. I love use the boomerang. lol
