Ds help, por favor.

hello all, been awhile since i've posted. I 've been a psp user and ds user, but up until recently noticed my ds. And i have a few questions about unlocking its potential.

1. i plan to get the r4 card and was wondering if i should get the package that it comes in or if just the simple single card will do?

2. I have a handful of ds games and was wondering if the memory from those games will carry on to the roms in the r4. In other words, is gameplay memory in the actual ds or the game cartridge?

It is possible to rip the games with the games saves but i haven't tried doing that, but if you plan on doing that you will need the one of those gba slot flash carts cause the slot 1 will be use by the game u want to rip.
Second all you need to is a slot 1 flash cart. I suggest an iTouch or TTDS.
R4 is a unfinished project and will barely have any more updates or none at all.

i bought my daughter a cyclo evoloution ds card for xmas. and it's dead easy to use. just copy and paste the roms to the mem card.

after playing a few games, i went to put more onto the card, and i noticed that the game had saved the game save to the mem card. so to answer your second question, the game saves are on the card and not on the ds.

there are loads of different types of cards you can get for the ds. have a look "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]" and they are on the left side of the page.

He was talking about ripping a official DS game not a DS Flash kart.
Or course the flash carts create a SAVE file when you save on to the Micro SD.
