r4 game cartridge problems

please help bit of a noob to this, i have had an r4 cartridge for about a year now but just recently i have been having problems with games that i am putting on there eg guitar hero decades and various others. Do i need to update the firmware or moonshell files that are on the cartridge. Appreciate the help thanks.

hi, I am afraid there a few games that just dont work with R4/M3 Flash Carts, however, there is a program you can use to repair them using ARM7, u need a donor rom (eg, sim city 2000 JAP ver) and your unplayable ROM, then you use it somehow to make the rom work, patching it with arm7, there is a patcher too, but it converts .nds to gba extension...google is your friend..ARM7 and patcher for NDS Roms, I give up on those roms that dont work...
