NDSL new user some questions

Hi

OK, so I got a NDSL today and have done a few searches on the forums for some info yet while I found most of what I was looking for I'm still some what confused, So I have a couple maybe more questions I would like to ask

Which card will fit into the NDSL? (same size as the NDSL games card I mean)
Which card would you recommend? I have seen people say R4DS and M3 simply DS

Can I run Homebrew apps?
Can I watch movies on the NDSL?
What must I do to run NDSL games I've downloaded from the net?
How can I "Backup" games I own? (which right now is none)
Whats the max size micro SD card can I buy that will work with the NDSL ?

If this was the PSP I would know but its not and since I know 100% nothing about the NDSL I thought it would be a good Idea to get some expert advice

Well depends if you have the money then buy the R4. It's great all around. But for me I just use the iTouch that cost me about $18 and about $21 for a 4gb micro SDHC (which I got at walmart).
