R4DS Loading Help

I have just bought an R4 card for my DS, I have loaded all the software onto the SD card and a game to play. When I put the SD card in the R4 and then into the DS and turn it on I just get the loading screen and nothing else happens. Anyone got any ideas whats wrong?

Did you put it in the ROM folder and also might want to go to R4 website and get the most current firmware for it. I found it wouldn't play games without the firmware update.

I downloaded something off the website, which updates the menu and mshl data files. Or is there something else I need to get?

Now did you create a Rom folder on the SD Card?

Also what game are you trying to play?

Yeah I have tried creating a folder called ROM and tried again with one called Games. I am trying to play Mario Party, its an .NDS file so I dont understand whats going on

And you just tried dragging it to the sd card without putting it in a folder? And just to make sure you are on fw 1.12?

No I have put it in the Games folder. How do I check the Fw part?

here the latest firmware. See if that helps.

Here is the instruction
1. Download the lastest kernel. (lastest right now is 1.2)
2. Format SD card
3. Open rar files and copy the contents to root of SD card
4. Put roms in root of SD card

that's it.
