No$gba -> R4 Help!

Okay, i will try and make it as simple as possible.

I have a Pokemon ROM save file on my computer and i want to put this save file onto my R4 so i can play this save file on my DS.

Now i know the save format or whatever needs to be called the same as the game name (Gamename.nds & gamename.sav) and needs to be the size of 512kb.

However, the save size of my save file that is on my computer is 169kb so when i transfer it to my R4 it doesnt let me load the save file as it says its corrupted or something like that.

So, what i am wanting to know, is it possible to transfer a No$gba save file to the R4 and get it to work.

If it is possible would anyone be able to tell me how to do it to.
