![]() I'm also looking for a netbook that is as powerful and will do everything a laptop will do. I'd love to be able to carry a netbook around in a small to medium sized purse or bag and pull it out whenever I wanted to. ![]() | |

| Re: Netbook from Sony? Well, depends what you want to do on it really. I've had my netbook about 2-3 weeks now I think, and haven't used my computer, not really, only for burning something to disk and copy some files over to use on the netbook. I write articles for several sites and post on several forums a day, as well as watch youtube videos, listen to music, use photoshop. itunes and Photoshop are both open right now, along with CuteFTP and two firefox windows, each with several tabs on . All I'm doing is what I'd be doing on the computer, with the bonus of being able to put it on hibernate at night or when I go out, so I don't lose any work, or have to save stuff. I know I should have regularly, but I like having not to do it .

| Re: Netbook from Sony? haha, yeah, I have a mac so I like the look of it. oooh forgot about the hinges, I was for sure gonna check the mouse pad and the keyboard, some sony's apparently can be really loud and clanky, and just generally some laptops can have poor keyboard layouts. its a bit bigger than I wanted, but it makes up for that in performance, and price, which isnt too high a price at all. you get what you pay for, they say, so I dont mind spending a bit more... |
