Car GPS Systems

Was wondering what everyone thought of these:

MotoNav

the TN30 seems pretty cool, a 4.3 inch touch screen, Bluetooth compatibility and 4 million points of interest.

what do you guys think of these?

btw they have more pics and specs on motorola.com/motonav

Yes! If GPS system be fully and accurately implemented in auto vehicle that ranging from cars to mass transport systems. But I do not believe that it will be automatically driven and we can expect the locations of vehicle.
Good move.

Re: Car GPS Systems

looks good. i use a tomtom 920. the tomtom does have a few more features. but some of them you have to pay for. but they are free with the one your looking at.

i've not used any other gps system, but i have heard bad reports about the garmin systems. so if i was you, stay clear of them. your best bet, is to view all the gps stems web sites and see which is the best one for you budget. and if your budget is a bit tight, consider buying a reconditioned system. just like i did. i bought my tomtom 920 off ebay for £180 ($360ish). where a new one from tomtom, would have cost me £350 ($700ish). and it is still covered by the same 1 year warrenty.

Re: Car GPS Systems

Yea, I ended up getting the MotoNav TN20 as a gift and I love it.

I love how easy it was right out of the box and its size. The compact size definitely makes it easy to grab and take anywhere with me.

Re: Car GPS Systems

i've just spent the last few days researching and hacking my tomtom. i now have a better system firmware and better maps. the maps alone cost around £90ish ($180ish) if you were to buy them. you might be able to do the same for yours. if your interested, let me know and i'll pm you some links to the sites that helped me.

Re: Car GPS Systems

I have a Garmin 760 and it's very good. Well, the only GPS brand option I had was Garmin, because in my country there are only GPS maps available for Garmin and not other brands. .... and those maps aren't even official, so they are free, but they have some little mistakes...

Re: Car GPS Systems

garmin is the best imo but since you got it as a gift, then it should be fine...
