this is because i've seen many questions about problems with the site being repeated, and hopefully people with problems will read this first.

Downloads/Uploads

Why can't I access the Download section?
You need 50 posts to get into the download sections.

After you get the amount of posts you want, log out, then log back in, and under the psp section, you will see all the downloads. But DON'T LEECH!

What is the minimum donation to access the download section?
The minimum amount is $15.

I donated, but still can't access the downloads. What do i do?
Just pm (private message) pspcrazy and tell him.
Be sure to include proof of your donation (such as receipt or email) and the amount you donated for clarification

Why do filefront downloads not work? I get a 404 error.
Filefront cannot be used with internet explorer and AOL.
To download from there you have to use:
Firefox
Safari
Opera
Others may work besides the ones listed, but IE and AOL will not.

I try to download, but the links are dead!
Most likely, the member that uploaded them, got his files taken down because they were illegal. You should pm the member to alert him that the links are dead.

Where do i go to upload things?
To upload, go to an upload site, (like megaupload or sendspace) and post the link in the appropriate d/l section.

Signatures/Avatars

What is the picture on the left of my post, and how do I add one?
That is called an avatar, to add one:
- Go to your USER CP (blue nav bar at the top of the screen)

- In the USER CP, look at the right hand side and you will see EDIT AVATAR

- Click on EDIT AVATAR

- You will then see two 'boxes', the bottom 'box' is where you add a custom avatar

- You can either enter the URL of an image that you have hosted on the web or upload an image from your PC, so either enter the URL of the image or click on CHOOSE to choose an image from your PC

- When you've chosen your image click SAVE CHANGES and preview the avatar in the top 'box' (current avatar)

NOTE: maximum size of your avatar is 125 by 125 pixels or 312.5 KB (whichever is smaller)
What are the things underneath my username?
The first thing, is your Usertitle. That's what normally says "GaminCrazy Beginner" and as you move up in your post count, it moves up to "GamingCrazy Fanatic" or other things.
The second thing, is your stars (

). You start out with 0, then as you make more posts, your stars go up.
Finally, the last thing there, is your Avatar (See above Question). You can go to the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and change your avatar.

What are the things beneath my Avatar?
First, there's three things, which are self explanatory, Join Date, Posts, and Status: Online/Offline.
Then there can be four icons,

, and

. Those are exactly what they say: Contact that user via Aim, Yahoo, MSN, or Skype. The user must permit the icon to show for it to show up.

The final thing, is the "Scan User" button.
If you press it, it will show all of the users' stats in the RPG. It will only show up if that member plays the RPG game.

What is the picture or text below posts? How can I have one?
That is a signature, to add one you need to first go to "Edit signature" In your User CP.
Then you can write somthing or put a picture in, to add an image, it needs to be uploaded to an image hosting site first ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ],[Only registered and activated users can see links. ])
And use the BB code they give you. It should be in [IMG][/IMG] tags.

Why won't my signature show up?
You need 30 words in a post for it to show up.
Note you do not need 50 posts to be able to use your sig!

Why won't my avatar show up, or I get an error message?
The administrator (PSPCrazy) is working on it. It's a big known problem, that is tough to figure out, so give it some time. Sorry about the problem

How do I post Replies?

There are three ways to post:

Any one of those will let you reply to a topic already created in a thread. The reply will take you to a new page where you can type your reply, Quick Reply will take you to the bottom of the same page, and you can quote messages with it, and Quote will take you to a new page also, and will have the quote bbcode in it.

How do I use the multiquote feature?
You can easily quote more than one post at a time by clicking on the small icon in between the quick reply and quote buttons. (

) It will get slightly a different color. (

) That means you've selected that post. Next time you go to a reply page, it'll quote that post for you. You can select as many posts as you want for multiquote.

My posts keep getting deleted. why?
Most likely you are spamming, and mods or admins are deleting your posts.

How come I have to log in every time I want to post?
The first reason is that you have to check "remember me" when you log in. The second reason is that you might have cookies disabled in your browser. You have to have cookies enabled for this site to function properly.

What is BB code, and how do I use it?

Why are there ads/popups around the site?
GamingCrazy.net is a free site, and in order to keep it free, they need to get money from somewhere. To keep this site running, it costs $300 USD a month.

Feel free to donate to PSPCrazy by Private Messaging him [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Ask him how, and he'll tell you.

How come I get e-mails telling me that someone replied to my posts/threads?
You are auto-subscribed to those posts/threads, or you chose to be subscribed to a single post/thread. To fix this, either find the link in the e-mail you recieve telling you to unsubscribe, or go to your [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]and then click "Edit Profile" on the left side. Scroll down a little, and there's an option to auto-subscribe or not to a thread.
