New Avatar & Signature Rules + Promotions

After leaving the signature feature unguarded over the years, Vbulletin put in a signature controlling feature in their newer softwares. I finally figured out how to use it, so from now on people need to upload their signatures to PSPcrazy via the Edit Signature link in your usercp.

Yes, Dimensions and Size will be limited based on your usergroup so be sure to check the chart below for more info. This should prevent any large gif/jpeg signatures or avatars from killing the speed of the forum.

Registered Users: (1-24 Posts):

You will have no option to add a signature or avatar, so your only way to get one is to post 25 posts. No time limit to post them in, just have fun and you'll be at 25 in no time.

Registered Avatar Users (25-49 Posts)

Users that have 25 posts to 49 Posts will be able to add an avatar that sizes up to 100 x 100 pixels with a size limit of 30kb.

Registered Avatar Users (50-499 Posts)

Users that have 50 posts or more will be able to add an avatar that sizes up to 125 x 125 , with a size limit of 35 kb. They will also have the option of adding a signature that sizes up to 480 x 150 with a size limit of 50 kb.

Ultimate Graphics Promotion (500 + Posts)

If you have 500 or more posts you will have the option to have all that the registered user has with the addition of a 140 x 140 avatar that sizes up to 42KB.

Other Site Promotions:

If you get 1000 posts you have the option to bold your name. We are working on some other promotions , so if you think of any other ones with the variables posts, time since registration and karma feel free to pm me.

Oh and i forgot to mention that the avatar promo for registered users... only affects new users, and users that didn't take advantage of the avatar feature while they still could use it. And for registered users that still have the their avatar and have less then 25 posts, you can't change it until you hit 25 posts. Hope that helps

It's up to you to edit your signature so it fits the new rules.
