idk bout u but i own a dreamcast... and i still baby it. it will always be known to me as the father of arcade. top notch fighting games with friends to prove whos superior.

wondering what some of ur favorites are (hell i think some are still being homemade in places like japan still).

For me i like just the original soul calibur port from arcade tho ive nevered played soul edge or whatever was before it. and who doesnt like marvel vs capcom...

yeah man! I was really sad when the dreamcast died..though I love sony, I thought the dreamcast had insane potential. my favorite games were phantasy star online eps1&2, sonic adventure 1&2, and last games Id have to say are under defeat and radilgy (or radirgy, it was called both). I pirated dreamcast games as soon as I learnt it was possible back in the day, when I learnt those came out, I pulled out my ol' baby and gave em a try, and I must say, theyre really fun.

didnt sega try and avoid pirating games buy make discs above a gig so burning wouldnt be possible? no idea just what i heard. ive never done it but thats because ive never know how and recently found out about it... so i think i may look more into it. suggestions would be appreciated. heh.

burning DC games is simple enough, you just find an image *cough* google *cough* and then burn it at around 4x speed, and BAM!

you have a dreamcast game

its a little more difficult than that, but thats virtually how easy it is (its just you use a diff prog to burn em)

sega put the games on a gd-rom. it was basically a cd-rom but could hold about 1.2gb. they didnt make games intentionally bigger to prevent it, they thought that the gd-rom would never have gd-rom-r's (like cd-r's), which it didnt...but it turned out, people didnt need gd-rom-r's, they could just use cd-r's. now in the case of games being bigger than 700mb, or especially games that were more than one disc, you can mod the game so that it can play on separate cd-r's. I could never personally do this so I just d/l'd games that were already separated. the part that made the gd-rom system hilarious, was that you didnt have to mod your dreamcast or use a bootdisc. sure other consoles are modded and you can burn games for them, but at least you need a bootdisc or a modchip, they made it so easy...

i have loads of bootleg dreamcast games, they were downloaded at alreay 700mb images and burned using imgburn at 4x.

hence one of the failures of DC. but yea ill check into it and see how it is. i could always use a sonic adventure...heh. thanks guys

np. 4x burn works good but just to be safe I went 2x burn. reaaaallly slow, like really REALLY slow burning, but it does the job right almost 100% of the time. especially if you have to overburn it for those annoying 710mb games

DC was not that good it had a few good games but nothing i could not be playing in the arcades . . . or on another console . . .

One of the worst controllers ever made imo as well.
