i buy it from amazon and i don't see any amazing :mad: just you can play like vergil.............there are no differnt.....

Devil May Cry 3pecial Edition is, like the name, an upgraded version of the previously game made by the Capcom. Differently of others special versions of games, DMCE brings greats upgrades to the DMC 3, the possibility of playing as Vergil is only one of those.

In this new version the major upgrade and the coolest is that Capcom made the possibility of playing as Vergil, Dante´s twin brother. Vergil( not like it was said) don't play like Dante, but he plays a lot different. In other words, people that played DMC 3 can have difficult in playing as Vergil. Only to start, Vergil starts with all his weapons and he has his own style. In the game as Vergil the cut scenes are different of those shown in Dante's mode but the missions are the same. This could be a deception to some players but in other way it's fun play all the missions again but some how different.

Vergil has three weapons of short range:Yamato sword(the best sword in the game), Beowulf(the strongest in terms of damage) and Force Edge(a sword that plays like Dante good to rookies). Vergil starts the game already with his Devil Trigger and has an evasive style called Dark Slayer. In strength Vergil is better than his brother but lacks in terms of style. Vergil has his costumes too and there is a possibility of playing as Super Vergil. To play as Vergil you have to finish this game or have a DMC 3 save file in your memory card making the things easy to those that finished DMC 3 and now wants to play as Vergil.

Other upgrades are the gold and yellow mode. The gold mode allows the player to, when he dies, to start the mission from a checkpoint and the yellow mode is the normal mode where you restart the mission when you loose.

The Demo Digest allows the player to watch the awesome videos that made history in Devil May Cry series. A thing bad in DMC is that you had to play along all the mission only to watch a video, now you have the chance to see it over and over again including Vergil's cut scenes.

There is also a new mode called Bloody Palace where your mission is to destroy every creature that moves and it has 9.999 levels of pure fun slashing monsters. This mode is also unlocked with a DMC 3 save file.

i played the first devil may cry and it was pretty easy to me. i skipped the second one because i didnt want to waste any more money but now after reading this post im goin to get it tomorrow

This is one of the rare re-releases worth buying. I wish Sony would require this to be done to all Greatest Hits Titles, then everyone wouldn't mind shelling out the extra cash twice for the same title.

No reason to play dmc 3 again.In the end i saw that you play with vergil and you fight vergil.capcom should have made some more work and not release games just for money with some really no extras
stay away from it if you own the dmc3 or if you never play it then buy this new version.
