Encrypted, how is it that you think the Nintendo image is ruined? I think you are a bit unaware about Nintendo's history of innovation. They were using internet in the Famicom! Those of us who grew up in the US and Europe missed out, but Japan was checking stocks on their Famicom systems.
There was also a Visual Basic program complete with keyboard for the Famicom. The, "Nintendo is for kids" argument is MOOT! These guys are masters at making games. The folks at Sony are masters at sales. |
Lol... you obviously didn't read what I was saying, as I was trying to point out that Nintendo was NOT kiddy.
I didn't say Nintendo's image was ruined either. I simply said that adding a browser to the DS Lite ruins the machines image as an all purpose gaming machine, as it was intended to be, and as stated several times. It makes it feel as if it's trying to compete with Sony, even in the slightest sense, which it should not because it is good for it's own purposes.
And I take offence that you think I am unaware of Nintendo's history of innovation... I'm not a youngun either. I was not, however, aware of every single detail like how Famicon's were supposedly implemented with browsers in Japan. But, heck... I'm sure a lot of people here are aware of Nintendo's contributions to the video gaming world. Being the 1st to give a browser to their system should not be one of them...
