Corrupt PS2 mem card help!

I cant belive it.

Just changed mem cards and 1 of them has totally gone corrupt.

It was full of game saves. Hundreds of hours of gameplay have been lost

Has this ever happend to anyone here? also is there a way i can get the data back?

It wont even let me delete the files.

Depends what the corruption was. Games saves are quicker to get back from the Forums here than trying to put together fragments of files from your MS.

I'd reformat and in future backup game saves to your PC.

I think the only thing you can do is get a new one

you can also use action replays memory manager. hold a few buttons to format youre memory card. what buttons you have to lo9ok up in the manual

its annoying its happend to me a few times try not turning it off when it loads and saves

you can try to format that, may that can help. i think problem from quality maybe it is fake

that happend to my San Andreas and my Devil may cry save they were currupted and I couldnt delete them

action replay has a usb cord that comes with PS2 software. i use my PSP memory stick to download saves from the internet and connect the PSP via usb to my PS2 and use the software to transfer the save to my memory card. you can also put saves from your Ps2 memory card to your PSP memory stick and then save them on your PC
as for your corrupt data, you're screwed! j/k just reformat and rebuild
