I'd go with Tekken. Street Fight is a classic but I prefer the Tekken fighting style. And DOA, the moves feel to slow for me.

Whilst you battle about them you do not realise that the best beat'em up is easily Soul Calibre it is such a class game with loads of class charectors and cool unlockable ones. e.g. Link and Metroid on Gamecube
