on the thing that lets you edit the text is littleroot town the only place you can edit?

and to the guy who dont know how to get the text thing to work u need to get this file: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

and the guy talking about the working NDS emulator(s) that can play PKMN peral and diamond. NO$GBA works real good but runs slow when ur outside building or battles. the other is ideas but it runs the game slow to a point u want to punch you computer screen. I got all the way to the 3rd gym untill my computer blew up lol. ( I was using NO$GBA )

Can anybody give me tips of where i should think about starting when creating my hacks? i have lots of tools to help me with the exception of a hexadecimal editor which i dont understand. should i start by editing maps or editing the text or the wild pokemon etc?

i can email you the programs but how can i send you the games because over hotmail it only lets you do attachments of 10 mb.

by the way i dont want this to get in a discussion about hotmail or whateva, lets try and keep it pokemon!

ok it is quite complicated and not as easy as people first think, i have given up on creating a pokemon hack and is trying to create a pokemon multiplayer online rpg, with new regions new badges etc,

anyway if you want to create a pokemon hack u need all the tools, such as a map editor, text editor, pokemon starter select, PET etc etc. you also need an emulator and a ROM and alot of backup roms. it is illegal to provide roms so do not ask for them, also you are best searching the internet for everything you need.

we really need someone who could create good sprites and mini sprites thanks!

i am not going to provide tools for hacking roms, and also we are not 'hacking' anything now, we are creating a whole new pokemon adventure from stratch, new characters, region, towns everything apart from the pokemon will be same
