| Re: Pokemon Hack Hiya! ^_^ I joined this forum so that I could ask a question here... I really need help with my Pokemon hack. O_o;; I desperately need the program PET some of you have mentioned.... however the only download I have managed to find of this is in spanish, from studiopokemon.com. Also, it doesn't work with my ROMs. I have a feeling I need to make them into INI files or something... So, if anyone can answer these questions, I will be very happy! XD... 1) Where can I download or obtain PET in english? 2) How can I get it to open and work with my ROMs? 3) How do I turn my ROMs into INI files? |

A3) I think you need to download a converter. Im not 100% sure about this,i never had to do this when i was creating a pokemon hack. Try searching the internet for a file converter or a .INI converter. Unfortunately PET, although it opens, cannot read any of my ROMs.  I don't understand, it says it cannot find any 'pokeroms.ini' and it says "Please find it at 'http://helmetedrodent.kickassgamers.com/pokemon'" However when I go there the page cannot be found. | Re: Pokemon Hack No problem! XD This is just my first ROM so, I'll make a better 2nd one using Ruby.  Thanks for all your help though!Hey, uhm... do you know a program which allows to edit the actual, larger trainer sprites? Like, for example, the image of the character you play as when you look on the trainer card? With PET you can edit the names and stuff, but can you actually change their 'profile' sprite which you see during battle? Like, re-draw it? :3 |

| Re: Pokemon Hack i think you can with PET, if you get the sprite you wont to edit and edit it in paint you can then load up PET and import the sprite into PET from there you can add it into the ROM, i think this will work. i am not 100% sure because i cannot create sprites!! PS - Does anyone know why sometimes my signature does not appear .... Thanks! |
