how can i take of scratches on my ps2 disk?

i wanna kno how to take of scratches on my ps2 disk, i heard that toothpaste works but i dont wanna try it incase i mess up my disks-ill only try it if i kno it works. do any of u hav better ideas? or does toothpaste work greatthanks

Just go out and buy a Skip Dr. That resurfaces your cd and gets rid of alot of scratchs. If they are depp then do it a couple of times.

Toothpaste. I am serious. You rub toothpaste all over the CD. Wait 5 minutes then rinse off and dry. Might not take all scartches off, but if the CD is not working well now it might be.

Also, you can use any generic lens cleaners. They probably won't work for deeper scratches, but it helps clean the disc off nice without further scratching it.

A skip Dr. would work a lot better because it actually resurfaces the disk. That means that it will put donw a new surface on the disk. It only cost about $20 at EB or Gamestop. it is worth it. It will save you a butt load of money

lol my friends always tell me to clean my scrached cds with condoms and they always seem to work without skiping. i know it sounds crazy but half of my friends swear by it and thats all they ever use to clean cds.
