M rated titles sell more according to new research

A New report seems to suggest that M rated games, those placed in the mature categories and as such are for 17+ are much better sellers than other rated categories.
The reports bases its findings on statistis gathered for the PS3, Wii and XBox 360 platform.
It also seems that according to the report that these titles also have higher average review scores than titles from other categories.

Damn skippy they do. I would rather play a game with more gore and violence than say some adventure game. But I often find those games with a "M" rating scare me.

yeh have to agree that "M" titles are much more better more of the time the only ever games i could say i've enjoyed that isnt really in that category could be Mario titles.

Burnout....car game? I mean in terms of shooting, hacking, slicing, dicing people. Also, I like some curse words thrown in while it's happening.

Oh okay, I meant for me ( it's hard when your typing cuz you think you get your point across but sometimes not ) but I meant Mature games for me are better when they are shoot em up, slice and dice, things like that. Car racing doesn't really interest me.
