Chinese man dies after 30 hour gaming marathon

A chinese man has died after having a 30 hour gaming marathon session at a cybercafe.
The man had collaped suddenly at his computer, paramedics were unable to revive him.
It is belived that the prolonged session at the computer may have triggered off some sort of heart problem, though exact cause of the death has not been confirmed.

It was probably the crank he took to stay up 30hrs to play games, he should of got a life now look at him now he is dead and no more video games.

Look i doubt any human should or can push their bodies limits for a straight 30 hour period when they are weak and have heart problems lmao. At least he died doing what he liked most.

Not again. First the tragedy of holding your water and the Wii and now this. Why is gaming causing so many deaths?!

It's not gaming that causes so many deaths, it's simply suicide. People should know their limits. At the Hold you Pee for a Wii contest the women that had that much water didn't even go to the toiler once she was home, and too much water can be fatal.

And i keep seeing this kind of news, and it mostly happens either in China or Japan. People playing way too much games hour after hour.

Once again, people should know their limits!

Just 30 hours? The human body can go 5 days without sleep. I remember staying up for 3 days during final exams week when I was in college and thats much more stressful than a video game. he must have really been out of shape to die after just 30 hours. I hope they dont try to blame this on videogames.

yeh but probably something on the screen triggered something or maybe he took too much of that caffeine who knows probably ahve to wait till the official word on what killed him.

Yeah thats probably it. Alot of people dont know that caffeine is a poison. Maybe he had too much. We'll probably never know what killed him. I notice that gamers in China and Korea have lots of problems with death. Remember that couple that stayed at the net cafe so long their child died of starvation? or that kid who killed his parents because they wouldnt continue to pay for his MMORPG subscription? Is it so much to take a break for a few minutes?

I know how they feel. you start playing a game like Oblivion in PS3 and 8 hours later you're like OMG I've been playing that long!?

But when your eyes start hurting or you get a headache or start feeling bad or stressed why not just take a break, get something to eat or drink, get some fresh air, and play again later? 30 hours straight is a bit much non stop. I remember playing through FFVII nonstop. it took 24 hours. I stopped to eat and took breaks tho. But to do it non stop without eating or taking a break...

I couldn't go out like that
