Awww man!!! My first game that got me hooked was Xenogears for the PS1!! That game turned my life around!!! I LOVE that game to this day!! I need to get another one...

The Legend of Zelda - Link's Awakening DX for the GBC turned me into a gamer, but only a handheld gamer. Wind Waker was the Zelda game that turned me into a console gamer.
