i hav my new psp v3.95 & i want to hack it to v4.01 M33 u think it wil work? so, i can costumize my psp & download games on it..but i dunno how..maybe u cn give me some guides what to do..thanks a lot

Welcome to the forums. Check out the Tutorial section you will find some very good guides for the process. You will need to be looking for Pandora Battery and pandora memory stick or magic memory stick. Have a read and post back in the help forums if you have any specific questions.

Download [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

In the eboot.pbp rename it to 4.01 PBP.

The second link move the update folder to your
PSP/ GAME/ then run it in your psp

He is running official 3.95 firmware. The only way to get custom firmware on it is to use a pandora battery and memorystick.

All he will get your way is "Game could not be started"

gandalf.. thankz for that info..but i dont hav pandora battery.. but i hav magis memory stick..how to do it?..

Buy Pandora Battery and the Mem stick off some trusted site. =D
