Why do I feel so damn stupid when I see threads like this and I still want to back up Vahid 100%?

The guy is a legend to me. Thanks to Vahid so many people, me included, have had a lot of fun and 'met' some truly awesome people here, have a PSP thats worth owning (hacked = worth owning ) and have played some great PSP titles/watched movies etc that would otherwise have been out of reach to many. I learned so much from him and it changed my life (no Im not over exaggerating ). Vahid gave us all so much and thats why he has my complete respect, admiration and support no matter what he does or doesnt do (including censoring gs ).

Shit happens but, history tells the story and it tells us that Vahid is THE man.

Stephy, I'm not arguing the fact that yes he did provide a spot for a bunch of good things to happen and I too am thankful for that.

My point is why now does he choose to abandon everyone when there are so many here that want to try and keep it going. There were people like you and Bex that were capable of doing that with any effort from him.

ben franklin was a pretty cool guy, no? invented shit, was a founding father, yadda yadda. well, he was kinda a pig. he had a wife. i think more than one, and girlfriends in other countries (london and paris I believe), and he even had an illegitimate son named william (thank the office for this). well, cool guy, but still a sleeve ball.

imo, vahid is the same way. made a great site, left us to rot. your memories of him may be good and you may choose to not see the bad, but its there, like it or not, and ignorance will not fix this site

If I was an 11 year old then I could put my feelings down to ignorance. I'm not and as a bona fide adult with more than half a brain cell, I put my feelings not down to 'memories' or history but, down to showing a little respect for the guy that pays the hosting bills that lets you post about historical figures that have no relevance to this thread .

You act as though you care about this site, like it's failing hurt you personally and yet you cant show respect to the site founder - the guy that allowed you to be here in the first place. Cant imagine why Vahid isnt around now .

Werent you here when Vahid started to slow down on the site? Werent you here when he up front told us he was flat out with studying etc? I was and the response he got was blah blah you suck youre letting us down, vahid sucks and he shat on us. Its fine for every other human being on the planet to have school/work to deal with but, Vahid......nah. The vultures came down to pick at him. Cant imagine why Vahid isnt around now .

I had my reasons for quitting and yes, I couldve made this place a lot different if Vahid wasnt so damn stubborn (yes, stubborn, like a mule). I couldnt get through that to make a difference and so I walked away. Staff members bitching about the site owner will kill off any remaining chances this site has left. If I was Vahid with the attitude you guys show towards him, I would let this site rot too. Common sense tells you that might just happen.

You make bold statements with clever analogies tds but, ask yourself what you and the other staff here are doing to this site with your posts. You say you care, you want to be here til the end to see what happens......I think you are bored of waiting already .

Since when is showing respect ignorant? If thats the case then right now Im a lot less ignorant than I was when it comes to whats left of the staff here. I chose you guys, I thought you would do the site proud, I respected you......f.uck.......you think that made me ignorant.....lmao.

Oh and btw, nothing will save this site. Vahid wont come back now with all the shit thrown at him here so ignorance might just be your only chance of salvation .

Stephy I see your point and I agree. I'm just as bad as everyone else and your right why would he want to come back and help revive this place since everyone else has given up. Yes he still pays the bills and keeps a place open for use to post and vent and actually help the occasional member that comes here looking for civilized help after getting flamed from the other so called major sites. After all that IS why I came here, to make a difference and have lost site of that. People still need a place to come to to ask a question without being told to f**k off and that's why I chose this place.

I apologize for my ignorance and will try to get back on track for the real reason I'm here and hope that others will do the same. We may not be able to change things but at least we can go down with a since of dignity and not being a typical hate site.

Thank you for opening my eyes once again and hopefully regain some bit of respect that you once had for me. I dealt with you more than I did Vahid and your opinion of me means more to me than his(since he never really knew who I was).

hmm...I never looked at it that way...

if I honestly had to say what Im still doing at this site, it would be for one of many things to happen. I stay because I like the site and it's members. I was around when iso's were on it. but when they were gone, I started posting. it was as if the thing that made me come to the site was also the thing that made me a part of it once it was absent

I see many outcomes of the site. 1. the site continues as is, has its ups and downs, but eventually ends. for no reason. we just visit the site and its not here. I do not want that one. 2. Vahid comes back. maybe just once in a while, maybe just fixes a few things and he's out but somehow I see him as the key to the site undergoing drastic change and avoiding its untimely demise. it's either really active or it remains as it, but somehow it lives.

he's making money off it still, so he's still paying for it, but I dont want to think he's keeping it up because he's making money off it. I hope that if he starts losing money, he at least sells it to one of us or we all pitch in or something.

I know we all rag on him, and then the next thread we defend him (minus you, i gotta admit youre one of the only ones who truly defends him on one thread and then remain with that stance on the next), and Im grateful for the site, but everyone makes threads on "the site is dying" and I try and remain positive but I dont think there's always that possibility that the site will go down one day and never come up. like let's say its hacked. is it gonna be saved? GX wasnt. and that site set out to do everything differently that pspcrazy.

so yeah, my memories of vahid are fond, but I think when we need him most, just to revive the site, it might not happen. I suppose I should give him the benefit of the doubt, and who's to say he wont come back in a year if we stop shit talking him? less likely, but who knows

EDIT: if anything, we should agree to disagree, but agree to not rag on vahid, close this topic (its an introduction thread...) or just stop discussing this in the wrong spot XD
