| You Guys Rock! | First and foremost, welcome to GamingCrazy.net. The forum staff would like to thank you for joining, and we hope that you'll enjoy your stay here. Before you start posting, you should get yourself familiar with the place. Reading the rules, FAQs, and stickied threads are always a good to place to start. Rules & Guidelines, and FAQ's Each forum has it's own, or perhaps no stickied threads, but they'll always appear at the top for reference. Moderators and Admins This forum has picked the most helpful, active, and useful members to be what we call Moderators. The Moderators are the people that you can go to to help you on the forums, or to just report someone doing some wrongdoing on the forums. They will help you as soon as they can, and will try to sort out the issues as fast as possible. The admins are the people that work behind the scenes on the site, some help staff GamingCrazy.net, while others add new features to the forums. At the end these people are here to help you enjoy your stay on GamingCrazy.net Site Help Still having problems? Then feel free to post a thread at the Site Help forum, where the users will kindly help sort out your issues. Please remember to keep the threads to site/forum help only as Game-Related help should be kept on the respective forums. Also, keep on the look out for Forum Announcements, which will appear at the top of each forum. They will keep you updated on important issues through the site. Welcoming Forum (Introductions) Now that your more familiar with the forum, you might want to consider creating a Welcoming Thread. This is a thread that introduces you to the other users. Here you can gain quick freinds through them responding to your thread. Keep in mind that this is a fairly large forum, so expect some time before some users see your post and respond to it. Rules for Posting Welcoming Threads: 1. Only create one topic. There is really no need for more then one thread. Your best bet to catch other members attention is to write something about your personal interests. In addition to that make sure to talk about how you got into gaming, as people prefer to talk about their experiences with you, then just saying Hi. 2. No posting "late welcomes". I understand that a lot of you fear posting a welcoming thread at first for some reason or another, but once people know you here please avoid posting a welcoming thread. We would like to keep the introduction forum for only new members. 3. No reviving old threads. Please do not go through the Introduction forum and dig up ancient threads. No one enjoys when someone says "hi" to a member that introduced himself 1 year ago. It actually get's annoying, and bothers the newcomers. 4. Don't "leave" unless you plan on leaving. If you plan on leaving the forums, and start a thread regarding this, please make sure that you are truly, honestly, leaving. Don't decided three days later that you can't bare the thought of not posting and come back. Now, it's understandable that if after a month or two, you do come back, but, it's rather upsetting (not to mention irritating) to see people have a "leaving" and "welcome me back" thread on the same page. Posting a Thread Im sure you have now understood the basics of the forum, and where to get help when needed. Now in order to share your experiences with the other members you will need to know how to make a thread. A thread basically is a page that you can create that contains things you want to tell the other members about. When you post a thread make sure to include as much information as possible, and keep the thread as clean as possible. Feel free to use colors to catch other users attention. GamingCrazy.net : Enjoy Your Stay Now that we've gone over all the tedious stuff, feel free to enjoy yourself. Don't be afraid to start new threads, though run a search to make sure it's not a repeat. Don't be afraid to ask questions, or contact any one of the forum leaders if you feel like you need more help. It may seem like a lot to digest, but you'll get it soon enough. Thank you, be active, and most importantly, have fun! Last edited by pspcrazy; 04-19-2007 at 10:17 PM.. |
