deals are pretty sh*tty this year, i'm doing all the little shopping i have online. i mean, unless if you're hunting for a tv (in which case you should have already brought it with the pre-black friday deals...), then there isn't much out there.

i agree. for such a "shitty economy" they aren't really going to lengths to sway me. it seems places like bestbuy all have stuff similar to last yrs prices. yea a garmin 100... woo... get one for that uncle of yours that will be passed out on xmas day.

Some stores will be closing (like Circuit City?) Maybe there will be some closeout sales there. Unfortunately some items you can't research for the lowest prices. Beware of phony sales items that are not cheaper.

I believe some stores are giving away MP3 players to the first 50 customers who buys $20 or more worth of stuff. Believe it or not some digital cameras are getting so cheap it might not be worth buying the PSP accessory chottoshoot camera.

Well I might report back here to tell you what I finally bought on black friday....

yeah, Im waiting for those closeout sales. it sounds harsh but I mean I havent been to a tech-store close out sale that I can remember...none just havent closed down in my area (I know theyve closed down in my city, but they were small outlets and actually just moved to a bigger location maybe two blocks away). this now is a legitimate closeout sale and I cant wait to go ^^

if you're waiting for circuit city closeout sales, then don't bother. if there's one near you closing, the deals are lousy. aren't you still looking for that hd? you wouldn't get that at cc anyways.

Im gonna wait for some christmas sales to get that hd. Ive been seeing 500gb for like 200 bucks, its insane how cheap they are these days. I may just go for a terrabite or two though.

I was thinking of some audio gear when circuit city closes down. are they not going to? or are they all going to but the deals just wont be worth it? I guess Ill have to wait and see when they close, its not absolutely necessary I get this gear but Ill need it eventually
