I'm getting Animal Crossing ASAP (hopefully tomorrow) and I want to know how many people here have a Wii and will be getting or already has this game?!

Animal Crossing is a kids game isn't it? I have visions of 8 year old girls playing it......

Is it coming to the DS? That would make my 'vision' so much more realistic - Animal Crossing, an 8 year old girl and a pink DS

Im so pleased I have a Wii, such appealing games.....I wish I was 8 again though, then I might enjoy it more

.

Im not moving this, I have better things to do that clean up after Crawler and I can bash the Wii a lot easier in the lounge than in the Wii section

After a while the game looses its interest. Doing stuff over and over again gets boring. :p imma skip on this one.

@ Stephy: DS version came out 2-3 years ago. It's not really for 8 year olds. The characters in the game may make it look like it is for the younger audience but if I was 8 years old and I played Animal Crossing I'd be so confused and ditch it. The game is actually really fun. I bought it today. Only down side is... it's to much like the DS version.

Animal Crossing on the DS was pretty fun. I remember there was controversy because some Dutch hackers found out how to get into someones account and lock the real owner out of it.

I used to play the DS one until i recently got rid of it on GameTZ. It was fun up until a point. Unless you have tons of FCs (i did. got them from a forum) and plan on playing on Wi-fi, its not worth playing. I will only get the Wii one if most of my friends get it too.

If I hadnt sold my Wii again (

) then I might've tried it just to see what the fuss is about. I havent had access to a DS for a loooong time and theres no chance Id try AC on a DS anyway so, Im going to have to miss out on the game
