Nah he was an anti-social person, that is why he killed himself, and many other people. If he had a GF then that would have been one of his outlets where his anger could have ran in, im guessing if he had one if might of actually helped him a bit.

He looked calm in the video... Like he had a choice...

I acually feel sorry for him... For he had a bad life... and had a bad choice.

be honest about this question

if someone made fun of your family, you yourself, or your ethnicity wouldnt want to do osmething to hurt that person (or people in this case)?

hell i still want to wreak some havoc on the b!tches who thinks its fun to make fun of asians
I'll be honest with your question before I respond to the rest of what you've posted.

Would I want to do something to hurt someone for making fun of me or my family? It depends on the severity, and I don't think murder ever really enters that equation. I've heard it all. It's about proportionate response.

Speaking of which, that was/is part of social adaptation and our social indoctrination. The acid test of youth was, could you hang when you got cracked on? Did you come back? If someone beat you up, did you fight back? Even in communities where respect was more important than human life, there were codes of understanding and general behavior.

He couldn't hang, obviously. Reclusiveness is a manner of behavioral coping, but the level to which he took it was more than unhealthy and in all honesty part of what made him viable to be picked on was probably the fact that he seemed so wacked.

I.e. he lacked the self-awareness to observe his behavior as it effected his surroundings. Further, his insecurity and ego were entirely out of control. He was a sociopath, not your average joe, nerd or not.

As far as considering the Virginia Tech shooting to be Cho's natural adaptation, well, it was given his serial killer in waiting profile, but his adaptation wasn't "normal".

Without even getting into his prior hopsitalization or even the stalking and just concentrating on what he's expressed in his "manifesto"-

His martyr complex has nothing to do with self-defense, but rather a delusion of grandoise redemption. Self-defense would be lashing out at someone viscerally in the face of real or perceived persecution or harrassment. This was calculated. Planned.

The fact he has a manifesto is testament to this. Note the class issues he cites incoherently between referencing personal trauma. He's mixing the two and attempting to elevate what is essentially his own sense of anomie into a larger philosophical/sociopolitical statement, which has nothing directly to do with mowing down these students and teachers. Also, the Jesus reference is another attempt to attach himself to a sense of significance larger than what he has.

His "martyrdom" is pathetic, but I will grant him this- he got what he wanted. He got famous, he got to feel powerful, he got his half-assed Timothy Mcveigh rantings (at least Mcveigh had half a brain) to reach the world.

This was about his validation. His need to feel he was special. Nothing more.

I'm not even sure why people are being sympathetic, because they've been picked on? So what, who hasn't? Feel bad for the students who did nothing more than wake up that day and enter a classroom.

Think about one of the teachers killed who survived the goddamn holocaust just to be murdered by some pissant with emotional/mental problems.

I hope you realize this had little to nothing to do with him being Asian as well.

And on making fun, it IS fun to make fun- be honest with me for a second. No one is above enjoying that or above jokes/ridicule. You need to be able to take it as good as you give it and vice versa.
